The Dohány Street Synagogue is of a Moorish Revival design built in the 19th century and is the largest synagogue in Europe. It also served as a shelter for the city's Jews during World War II.” .
A bird, the ultimate symbol of freedom, is perched on a rusty barbed wire fence just outside the main gate of the Terezín concentration camp where the welcoming sign reads “Arbeit macht frei” (Work Sets You Free)
The illuminated Hungarian Parliament reflected in the Danube creates one of those photographs where the architecture, light and water seem to come together on their own.
Part of the fun of photography is spontaneity. These three photos were taken in my backyard.
